The "un-shower" Baby Shower

Last night I helped host a double baby shower with my friend, Christa, for our friends, Lindsay and Bonnie. The two moms-to-be, and a lot of the rest of us were a little "baby showered" out from all of the showers lately, so Christa had some brilliant ideas that turned out a beautiful, non-traditional shower!

It was an outdoor event in the backyard of our friends, the Stephens:

Their daughter, Lauren, whipped up this adorable pallet sign for us the afternoon before the party!

The spread!
There was a hot chocolate and cider bar with toppings, s'mores, and a ton of delicious snacks!

This handsome dude stopped by to light the fire

The pretty patio area

A couple pictures I got of guests while it was still light (and before I realized my flash wasn't working!)  =0/

Two of the youngest attendees:  Moriah and Eden

Grace, Jessica, Melissa

Bonnie (one of the women of the hour), Katie and my co-host, Christa

Lauren and Leigh Ann

Melissa, Me and Jennifer
(this is when the flash not working became apparent)

Leigh Ann got this group photo on my card in her camera

People ate, chatted and made s'mores while Bonnie and Lindsay opened their gifts and then we had a short time of prayer over the two of them and then we all snuggled up under blankets and watched "Father of the Bride 2" on a screen in the backyard!   It was So much fun!   I had forgotten how Funny it was!  By the time we had cleaned up and got home, it was after 11!   What a fun night!

This looks like so much fun! I love the idea of watching a movie in the backyard too... I haven't seen the movie in ages, but used to love it :)
Looks like a good time was had by all!
Love you!
Rebekah :)
