Goop and Lego

Here is some fun stuff the kids have been up to lately...

We used these (Basil seeds)...

For a project from this book...
Caleb got this from our friends for his birthday

We put the (tiny) seeds in colored water and they absorbed so much water they increased in size about 10 times!

The (now soft and sort of slimy) seeds all mixed together

So weird!

Hmmm...

Keenan and Moriah put their hands in right away, but Caleb was a little more hesitant...

They look like frog eggs!

I love Caleb's expression here =)

He finally got in there

One of the strangest things I've ever felt

Cheap fun but pretty messy!

We may not do this again until we can do it outside and hose everyone off =)

The kids went to their second Lego Club meeting at the library last week:

This week they were supposed to build something that had to do with Christmas or something they wanted for Christmas

So happy!

Looks like the girls congregated together =)

Moriah decided to make a Christmas tree

Caleb played happily with a bunch of kids he didn't know while we waited =)

He wanted a picture taken with these Huge books at the entrance to the kid's section

Moriah's finished tree

Apparently this is what Keenan wants for Christmas?

Looks like fun!

I had never noticed how much Caleb looks like Nicolas P before until these pics! They must be close in age, too - just a year and a half apart, maybe? Cute!!

Love you all!

Wow, I can't believe Steph just said that about Nicolas P, I was thinking EXACTLY the same thing!! Isn't that weird? What do you think Joia? There definitely seems to be a resemblance, even beyond the blond curls!!

Where was the Lego project, was that the library??? Good job done by Keenan and Moriah!!
