Approaching Normal...

We are starting to feel like it's normal to be living in this house...

When Keenan saw a picture on my July 4th blog post and asked if he could read the whole thing, he started scrolling back through the blog and I had a lightbulb moment.   "Hey, Keenan, would you like to read through the blog from the start?"   He was thrilled to see that we had books of the blog that he could sit down and read!   Pretty fun to read about your life (pretty much from the start) in a book, while you're a kid! =)

Here he's reading out loud to Moriah
(She's anxiously awaiting her grand entrance into the story) =)

This kid is soo silly! =)

A kid workout!

All stacked up!

Moriah and I doing a chocolate facial

Philip and I went on a date last Saturday night and the kids loved having Sarah (Stephens) babysit!

What a pile!  That's Keenan's hand waving at the top

On Sunday afternoon, we went to a Family Day on base with the group that Philip works with.   There was delicious food, a dunk tank, bouncy houses, a petting zoo, pony rides, volleyball and some 100 yr (or older) cars!  Fun stuff!

Caleb riding like a boss

The sweet pony, Miss Penny

Moriah's turn

Can't for the life of me remember what this was called!

This field is right outside of our subdivision! =)

No Spunky?

DT - who are you?

Spunky stayed in Florida with her good friend, Danny. We decided that was the best choice for all of us. She had never lived outside of Florida, so the climate change might have been hard on her, and since we adopted her from a shelter, she'd never been fully house trained and still had accidents in the house sometimes (which was okay on our tile/hardwood, but our new house has almost all carpet). She also still ran away EVERY single time the door was open. She was a sweet tempered dog and always very good with our kids, but her bad habits didn't bring out the best in any of us. We still keep in touch with Danny and he sends us pictures of her. =)

Oh, yeah, I guess I forgot to ask about Spunky!!! Glad she has a good place still!! Now you can get a cat.... =)

The critter? Never seen one before, but it looks like some sort of reptile. Is it actually a giant lizard or more related to the alligator guys???

Very cool pics of you using kids for a workout. And wow, Keenan is pretty strong to hold Moriah & Caleb. Beautiful pics of kids in the fields. :)

I love all the field pictures!

I wish you were here (Hawaii) this week to take some beach pictures of us :) I've never really done it, and it's so much harder than I thought it would be! Oh well... I think you are an AMAZING photographer and I love how you capture the little details that make life so special!
