Gulf Breeze Zoo

After living her for over five years, we finally took our first trip to the Gulf Breeze Zoo yesterday (40 minutes away)!

Philip was home and it was a gorgeous day!!   The zoo isn't very big, but just the perfect size, to be able to see everything and the kids not get too tired out.  They had quite an impressive selection of animals, too!

The best part was that at the beginning, we bought a cup of feed, and the kids could feed a LOT of the animals!

This was the first guy we saw, I think he's adorable!!

Feeding a Llama

These goats were all fighting over it! =)

Beautiful Budgies in the Apiary

The otters were one of the highlights for us, since they were so active and funny!

Not sure what this look is all about

So cute!

Funny guy

Another highlight was feeding the giraffes!

Keenan had to get on Philip's shoulders to reach

Look at that tongue!

It was so funny and scratchy! =)

My favorite picture of the day =)

How adorable is this baby?

No idea their picture was being taken

Mountain Lion

This guy was pretty funny

Lazy Kangaroos!

A cute bird that was in with the kangaroos

The kids being a Kangaroo and Joey

Moriah on Safari

I was delighted to see that they had Tigers!

The one on the ground rolled over on his back and swatted at the one walking by

Fat, happy Gator

Trying to keep up with this little guy

Bored Chimps

Don't know what this is

On the move

He probably walked Miles in baby steps!

The bear gave us a funny little show!

This sneaky camel stole our feed cup!

Moriah retrieving it
Handsome fellow

Pretty peacock hiding in the bushes

Ring tailed Lemur

"Psst!  Hey!  You know what?"
"I like to move it, move it!"

All in all, a great day at the zoo!  There is also a train ride available, that we will do next time!

Joia, firstly, Keenan looks so old.

Secondly, your youngest is walking! Holy cow!

Thirdly, how have YOU Miss adventure NOT been to this zoo before? We went MANY times while in town.

Fourthly, I had thought the zoo was rumored to be closing. Did that never happen?

Haha at the "got to move it, move it comment"! Cannot believe Caleb is so big & walking! Loved the funny pics of Keenan & Moriah being a kangaroo & joey. Can't believe the variety of animals there! Great photos. And you're so skinny!!! :)
