Wrappin' up in Mexico...

Wow, our two weeks here are over! We head out early in the morning for the long drive to Phoenix!

I haven't taken very many pictures in the last couple of days, but here's a really cute one of the cousins (minus Alisa) taken this morning:

All matchy-matchy =)

We have had SUCH a great time! The kids have had a wonderful time with their cousins, we've eaten a lot of great Mexican food, either cooked by Steph or eaten out, we've seen lots of cool stuff, visited beautiful beaches (and hotels), and have had an all around awesome Mexican vacation!! No doubt Tim and Steph's house will be a little less crazy when we leave... =)

San Carlos

We spent most of the day today in San Carlos, a beautiful town on the water about an hour and a half from Tim and Steph's. Normally they go to the beach here, but this time we got day passes for a beautiful hotel on the beach and hung out by the pool with some of their friends instead. It was amazing!!

How gorgeous is this??
(The water in the background is an inlet that leads right out to the ocean)

This kids are of the pool was perfect for our gang!

Keenan spent a lot of time outside of the kid's area =)

Me with my not so happy boy (he had just gotten a nasty cut on his knee)

Chillin' with a sleeping baby =)

My cuties just before we left

Beautiful sunset as we were leaving

This cow was randomly wandering around outside the hotel gate =)

(The last ones my kids saw were in Kenya!)

Children's Museum!

The Children's Museum was one of the places that we'd been looking forward to going to if we ever made it to Hermosillo! It did not disappoint us. =)

Moriah got her very first pig tails yesterday!

I'm quite in love with them =)

Magnetic metal shavings

A cool water table

Marika and a funny mirror

Keenan loved this static charged ball

Another favorite was this ball floating in the air over a fan

One of My favorites was the mini Wal-Mart where the kids could "shop!"

Choosing some beverages

Moriah and Kyla

Gotta have milk!

... and finally some cereal

All done and ready to unload at the cash register

Keenan checking out

Fun with the chalkboard

The girls doing some art

Keenan loved this sand filled pendulum

Keenan and Moriah disassembling a huge puzzle

Steph demonstrating the bed of nails (you lay on a plastic surface and then they raise the nails up through it)

I found it much more painful than Steph let on =)

I had prick marks all over me when I got off! =)

Keenan grinding wheat into flour
(This was his favorite thing and he did it for a long time!)

Mika grinding flour

A cool pendulum arm that draws amazing pictures!

The "twins" watching together

Moriah's finished picture

Tim and Vivian waiting for her picture =)

The girls using a coloring program on the computer

A disturbing print of my face on the peg board

Can you tell Tim and I are related?

Catching up on Mexican happenings...

Okay, here's what we've been up to the last couple of days:

Vivian pulling Moriah in a laundry basket

Goofing around =)

Saturday night we went to a play at the hall that the Sunday School kids put on...

The whole group

Shaelyn, as Mary

Marika as the Ethiopian Eunuch

Kyla, I don't remember who she was, but she was cute!

My two watching a movie (make yourself comfy, Riah!)

Last night we went out to get hotdogs (because I had read about them on Steph's blog forever ago, and definitely wanted to try them!

The hot dog stand

Me with the most amazing hotdog ever!
(Hot dog wrapped in bacon in a super fresh bun, topped with whatever you want!)

Five happy kids

Back up on Cerro de la Campana to see the lights at night

Today we went to Kino beach (about an hour away). It was windy and oh so sandy, but gorgeous!

A pretty island about a mile off the shore

In one of the palapas

Moriah trying out one of the hammocks

Uncle Tim was her best friend in the water! =)

She scooted right over to Tim for some protection from the waves

Happy girl

Keenan had a Great time!

A sweet shell necklace I bought while we were at the beach

These are from a while ago, and I just came across them on my laptop but I don't think I had posted them...

Moriah wearing her princess cape...

She then figured out that it fit Spunky pretty well! =)

Poor Spunky, a while later, on her bed, with the cape still on!
