We had a fun, busy morning here, getting stuff ready for Philip to leave for more training (this time it's two weeks in St. Lois). Before heading to the airport, we hit a couple stores and picked up pizza for lunch. The kids weren't nearly as sad this time when we said goodbye (partly because Daddy had treats for them), so that made it much easier for all of us to come home without him.

After he left, the kids had naps and then we headed to Wal-Mart for some stuff, and then to McDonald's for ice cream cones for the kids and a wildberry smoothie for me. =)

Here's a picture of the two of them in their new pajamas that we bought tonight, I love them! =)

Keenan's say "Tough Guy" and Moriah's say "Mommy's Girl"

I just talked to Philip. He's settled into his hotel and is half way through the reading he needs to get done before class starts at 7 tomorrow morning. Looks to be a pretty heavy week! The course is called C-STARS (Center for Sustainment of Trauma and Readiness Skills). A larger city hospital will give him practice dealing with the types of trauma that he will see while deployed, that Eglin doesn't get.

It's going to be a busy, fun week! See you tomorrow! =)
