#1. Keenan had a Perfect scoring potty training day today with NO accidents! I am thrilled out of my mind and sooo proud. =)
#2. Keenan and I went to church together (Moriah wasn't feeling well so Philip stayed home with her) and then had an ice cream cone date afterward. It was very sweet and fun.
#3. Keenan and Moriah are finally starting to really play well together and be sweet and loving to each other - and I LOVE it! Today they were in his room and he was "reading the Bible" to her (aka telling her what the pictures in his children's Bible mean to Him!) Very funny to listen to...
#4. We went for a family bike ride this afternoon and it was Really fun! The first one we've had where all four of us actually enjoyed it. This was largely due to the fact that Moriah actually now Fits her helmet and was able to ride in a seat on my bike, instead of having to sit in the bike trailer with Keenan. =)
I found them reading together yesterday in Keenan's bed: =)
Also - just have to share these because I think she's just too sweet in this pettiskirt:
(Will post about them soon on Sugar and Spice!)

We started yesterday afternoon and had one success and a couple of accidents before bed last night and then today was pretty rough going for the morning until nap time. I was finding it extremely emotionally draining (being frustrated on the inside and trying to be totally encouraging on the outside). I decided we'd regroup after nap and make a decision at that point. Keenan has done So well since then and has had NO accidents! He has been amazing and we are SO proud of him! We celebrated with pizza and a movie of his choice tonight. =)
Man, who would have ever thought you could get such an adrenaline rush from hearing your child peeing on the potty? =0)

I am the MOPPETS Coordinator this year, which means I'm in charge of getting volunteers to help our staff out with childcare, and make sure things run smoothly with kid drop offs and getting everyone settled and happy in the right rooms. I still have much to learn, but it's fun!

Several of my good friends have kids that go to the school talked about below, it would mean a lot to me and them if you Facebook users out there would vote for their school (and it's great cause)... see below:Kohl's Cares Facebook Competition - Shalimar Elementary Needs Your Help
I received a request to share this information with you. I think it is a great cause so I am happy to help! I had not heard of the Kohl's Cares program until today, but after checking it out and reading this school's story I do hope they win one of the 20 cash prizes. See info below:
The Shalimar Elementary story:
Coach Collins was a friend and mentor to many people at that school and for years she was trying to gain grants to build the school a new track. While trying to access funding she organized and ran many events that were tailored to teach students and their family members the importance of Physical Education. This past June, Coach Collins passed away suddenly while participating in her first local triathlon. This contest is a way for the community to not only achieve her dream, but preserve her memory with a track dedicated to her dedication and drive for her love of the school.
Voting ends Sept. 3rd and in order to vote, you would need to go to “Kohls” on Facebook and like their page. On the “Kohls Cares” tab you can navigate to the application. After joining the app, you can utilize this link to go directly to Shalimar Elementary (Okaloosa County, FL).
They are currently in the #50 spot and will need a ton of votes to get in the top 20 by September 3. You can vote up to 5 times for the school and all users get 20 votes. Whoever you choose to vote for, I think this is a great program that Kohl's is running! Click here to vote. Happy voting!

After naps, I got our pool out for the kids (since, it seems, they can't get Enough pool time in one day... =)
Oh, I almost forgot, last night we watched a Great movie, called, "To Save a Life". I Highly recommend it!
