Eglin Air Show

We went to the Air Show on base yesterday for a few hours. The kids (especially Keenan), really didn't tolerate it super well, so we weren't able to stay long enough to see the Thunderbirds. =0/

We did see lots of cool plans, a few demonstrations, and some people we know though, so it was fun anyway!

This has nothing to do with the air show, but it's a super cool track/parking garage that I got a great deal on at a yard sale and the kids are Crazy about it!!

No, it's not crashing!
This tiny plane could do Amazing stuff!

Video would have done it true justice

Poor Moriah almost immediately got a heat rash (which thankfully went away pretty fast)

Taking a tour

Inside the chopper

My fav of the day!

This one just cracks me up!

Checkin' out another chopper

Some sort of Humvee

The awesome Thunderbirds

A close up

The F-22 Raptor, the world's most advanced fighter!

The underside where all the ammunition goes

It was Very loud!

Keenan's look of the day "Let's go hooooome!!"

The world's only aerobatic helicopter!

This is what happens when you fly under the influence of Red Bull =)

Totally the "crash scene" out of a movie!

I'm not sure what this is called, but thought it was really cool!

Keenan Loved the bouncy house!

Moriah and I with a sweet Mustang

After the kid's naps, we headed back on base and I went grocery shopping while Philip took the kids to the park for a while. After his call shift was done, Philip really only had half a weekend day left, but it was a fun one!

Looks like it was fun. The Thunderbirds & the F22 were awesome looking! So sorry we had to miss it, but it was good we stayed put too.
