Kijabe Komments

Today has been a very relaxing day spent here at the house. I now actually feel "moved in" and have made some order out of all our stuff.

Keenan acts like he's lived here his entire life, but Moriah is taking a little longer to adjust. She was awake for almost two hours in the middle of the night again, and is a little under the weather with a cough and cold.

Philip had the opportunity to go to a rural clinic about an hour and a half away. It's a nurse run clinic and they have doctors from Kijabe visit once a month. They save their most complicated cases for this day. He and Erik (also from Eglin) saw about 20 patients between them (all through interpreters). They had a couple cases of Malaria, new diagnosis of cerebral palsy, tonsilitis, etc...

Erik and his parents joined us for dinner tonight. I'm totally getting the hang of this one burner cooking and made African Peanut Stew today. =)

Still hoping to figure out a way to post more pictures, thank you for your patience!

I can only imagine how exciting it is for you guys to be there and for Philip getting a taste of his life-long goal of being a Dr. on the mission field. Will continue to keep Moriah in our prayers. Jeff really sick too w/ horrible cough and upper respiratory junk; pls pray for him too. Love, Mom
