Couple pics and a question

Keenan and Riah chillin' on the trampoline...

...and a smooch right on the mouth!

Okay, here's my random question:

Was the spider that climbed the water spout "Itsy Bitsy" or "Eensy Weensy"? I'm for "Itsy Bitsy" myself, but Keenan has a musical birthday card that says "Eensy Weensy" and got me thinking...which one IS it??

So... let's take a poll, and pit the "Itsy Bitsys" against the "Eensy Weensys" and see who wins! If you have a second please play!

P.S. Blogger from The Mac's House - you've got me curious... I've enjoyed your comments on the blog the last couple days, but how did you find me?

itsy bitsy for me, but the Wiggles from Australia say eancy weancy. I still tell them it's itsy bitsy!

Brings up another question... on ring around the rosie is it "ashes, ashes" or "a tissue, a tissue"? I sing ashes, but the boys cd and their preschool teacher says tissue....

Well... Denise, in Canada they say "husha, husha, we all fall down..." so I guess it is whatever you make it...

Here is a site w/several renditions w/most of them using "itsy bitsy". [It also says AKA "eensy weensy"]. Can't find "husha husha"... that's a new one to me Mom W.

I have never heard of husha, husha! And after growing up so close to Canada, I thought I knew a few Canadian things! lol.

Funny lil tidbit about me. I read TONS of books growing up. I guess quite a few were the Canadian versions. I still have to think through my spellings of some words because of it! centre....

OK, I'm know I'm *really* behind here, but I just Have to put my vote in for "itsy bitsy" and the reason is because Jeff's mom says, "eaesy weensy" and I thought it sounded so funny when I first heard her say it!

Not that Denise will read this now since it's so far backdated, but it's "ashes" because the whole song is really about a disease (forget the name of it now) that was highly contagious (I think it was "related" to measles? PTD would know) so when the people died they cremated them; hence, ashes, ashes we all fall down (die). Once I learned the "nursery rhyme's" origin, I stopped singing it to my kids! lol.
