Splendid Sunday

This morning we went to the early service at Calvary Chapel and then went disc golfing at a course in Fort Walton Beach that we recently found out about. Actually, Philip and Andrew disc golfed while I sat in the car with Keenan (who was taking a much needed nap). After that, we went to a few stores (got a life jacket for Keenan and Andrew bought a fishing pole) and then had lunch at Cici's.

Mmmm....

When we got home, Philip worked in the yard, Keenan played in his pool, then had a nap while Andrew watched a movie and I did some laundry and ironing.

For supper I tried a couple new things. I made pasta with a cheese sauce and pesto and pork chops with a honey mustard glaze. Philip and Andrew even said they were both quite good!

After dinner we all went for a walk. Andrew pushed Keenan in the stroller. I just want to interject and say what a great house guest he has been! He plays with Keenan a lot, and whenever we go anywhere he gets Keenan in and out of the car and buckles him into his car seat! (Sweet!) It's so nice to have a "baby handler" around! I said to Philip today on our walk, that Andrew is like having a male nanny around... which Philip said would be a "Manny". =)
We went to a park nearby and let Keenan burn off some energy. We also met some of our neighbors for the first time!

Andrew actually stood in the water to take our picture (he said it was very warm)

Philip decided to give the rope swing a go too

This one's a little blurry, but I thought it was funny

The new food you fixed looks yummy. I have a feeling Andrew's "mannying" doesn't extend to a desire to be a professional manny... See you soon... Love, Mom
