Sunny Sunday

When I woke up this morning, I looked out in the backyard and saw all these tiny spider webs everywhere, covered in dew. I thought they looked really cool, like little "fairy nets" or something...

We went to church this morning and then looked at "big boy" car seats for Keenan at Wal-Mart and Target. He's almost ready to be in a forward facing seat - I think that will be so much more fun for him!

This afternoon, Philip went and played ultimate frisbee with some of the other residents and faculty from the hospital while Keenan and I took a two hour nap. =) A good afternoon was had by all.

This evening, we went for the first time to the home group that the Sheridans invited us to. They are doing a study on Peacemaking, and we met some wonderful people and had a good time. I'm not entirely sure how it's going to work out, since Keenan was very "busy" (and not all that quiet) while we were there, and it also ran past his bedtime. Here's some pictures from the evening:

Keenan with some of the other kids

Some of the women - Crystal, Me, Corrie (and Sarah Dawn), Laura and Karen
Side note - Corrie is Laura's best friend, and her sister is running the Iditarod right now (as the first woman from Washington state!)

Some of the group (just before we watched the video)
