The bathroom saga, etc...

Last night I actually got the bathroom primed! It was Such a great feeling to Finally be putting paint on the walls!

My first couple strokes... I was so happy!

While I was painting, Philip and Keenan were working on getting some more baby safety locks on the kitchen cupboards.
I think if Keenan had a clue What they were actually doing, he would have had no part in it, but the drill was just too intriguing...

We had a wonderful lunch today at Wendi's house. Her friend, Tara is visiting (from California, where she is a doctor also doing her residency) for a few days, so it was really cool to meet her after hearing so much about her, and seeing pictures of her. We all kind of felt like we knew her already, and she felt the same way about us... she even knew our husband's names! (Good job, Tara!) =) I just hope we didn't all completely overwhelm her with our constant chatter, and our kids running to and fro, etc...
The food was all really good as usual, and Tiffany made an Amazing (Italian?) cake for dessert. It had three layers, nuts, and cream cheese icing. Mmmm...

Jodi actually picked Keenan and I up on her way to Wendi's and then came back here to help me paint afterwards. The textured paint worked pretty well and she and I got the painting totally knocked out by 5:00! Yay Jodi! She is soo awesome...
Keenan slept for the first two hours, but after he woke up, was not very happy not being able to be with us. Jodi had the Great idea to put him in the bathtub (since he loves baths) while we were painting! He loved it!

All work and no play is no fun...

The painting pair

Pretending to be hard at work...

We left our mark on the wall (behind where the toilet tank will go)
