Family, family, family!!

My mom made it safely here last night... after 12:30!

This morning we had "Christmas Number Two" after she unloaded TONS of presents from her suitcase from lots of family and friends in Canada! How fun!

For lunch, we had twelve of us here for a big turkey dinner. Along with Matt, Jessica, Dad and Reagan and Hudson, we also got a visit from Uncle Dave, Aunt Pat, and Hannah on their way home to Missouri!

After a great afternoon spent eating, visiting and laughing, everyone else headed out, we got naps, and soon we're heading to Matt and Jessica's place in Destin to celebrate New Years and spend the night. More family is coming in to town tomorrow! Woohoo!

When it rains, it pours!!

After thirteen days of life without meeting a single member of her extended family, Moriah met five this afternoon, and will meet one more later tonight!

Her Grandpa Dan, Aunt Jessica, Uncle Matt, and two cousins, Reagan and Hudson all came into town this afternoon and spent several hours visiting with us. They'll be around until January 2nd. They left a little while ago to go check into their beach house in Destin. We'll be meeting up with them there soon.

My mom flies in tonight. Her flight (due to arrive at 9:30) has already been delayed an hour and a half! =0/ So not cool...

Happenings in our house...

This morning we had Moriah's two week appointment at the doctor (even though she's really only 12 days old, and isn't due to be born for another four!) She's doing well on all fronts... she's gained about an ounce a day and now weighs a whopping 7 pounds and 2 ounces. =) She's also grown about a 1/4 of an inch taller. She's still our tiny little munchkin though!!

Philip had a super short day of work related responsibilities today, so that was awesome. Moriah continues to nap a LOT during the day, so Keenan and I got to spend a lot of time together while Philip was gone. We "cooked" in his kitchen, read books and built a bunch of cool towers and random things with his new blocks. It's really nice to be able to spend so much one on one time with him still... =) (Wendi, this may work out for you and Isaac, too!)

This afternoon, we went on base, did a little bit of shopping and then went to the park. Philip and Keenan played for a while (and Keenan got an "owie" on his nose) before we went and picked up the delicious dinner that Becky and John made for us tonight - wow! Another amazing meal! After a bit of grocery shopping, we were finally on our way home. Both kids were asleep, so Philip and I actually got to eat dinner in peace and spend some time together before Keenan woke up.

Keenan's nose... I call him Rudolph, poor little guy =0/

Tomorrow Take Two

Bummer! I've been wrong this whole time, and my mom doesn't get here until Tomorrow (Tuesday)! I'm so bummed! =0/ Oh well... we just have longer to look forward to her visit now... =)

Tomorrow!

Today has been spent at home, getting work done around the house, and getting ready for my mom's visit... Less than 24 hours now - Woohoo!! She'll be with us for two whole weeks, I'm soo excited!!

We also have some of Philip's family coming to visit (and staying in Destin) later in the week, so it'll be a really fun New Year's! =)

That's about it for today.

Hilarious video!

Hey, check out this funny video link! (Thanks, Tim!) =)

We love having Philip home!

It's been soo nice having Philip home these last three days! He has tomorrow off too... everyday I wake up and I'm excited that he doesn't have to go in to work that day! =0)

The weather continues to be really mild and nice out - I'm loving it! This afternoon, I left Moriah with Philip, and Keenan and I went to the park. He played at the playground, we walked along the beach, threw pine cones in the water and he played in the water fountain.. )

Miah asleep on the boppy last night while we watched Prince Caspian

...and on my lap

I pumped and had Philip give Moriah a bottle today (to make sure that she'll take a bottle)
I think it was a positive experience for both of them... =)

Here are some of the gifts Moriah has been given (that haven't previously been featured on the blog) I LOVE getting girly stuff! =)

Since he had quite a few things to open on Christmas day, we saved one of Keenan's presents until today for him to open...

Here he is with the Huge stocking, wondering what's inside...

Woohoo! A 100 piece block set!

It took him no time at all to get to work!

Disc golfing with the kids =)

Since the weather continues to be so mild, we decided to go disc golfing this afternoon. Moriah's first time at nine days old! =) It was a really fun time for us to get some exercise, fresh air, and gave Keenan a chance to run around and be a boy.

Here he is after throwing dirt up in the air and then falling down...

Look at all the junk in his hair!

The highlight of the day was coming home... Brittney had stopped by and left us dinner, salad, dessert, candy, and gifts for the kids! Wow! We have been well taken care of by our friends, we are so blessed. =)

I got another present today from Philip (well, he said it was from Keenan). It's a "You did a great job giving birth" present...

The larger bootie, with the Aquamarine (March) stone was a Mother's Day gift after I had Keenan. The pretty chain and the bootie with the Turquoise (December) stone are from Philip. He had hoped to be able to get the same bootie this time, but I like that they're different and Moriah's is tiny (like her). =)

Christmas Evening

We spent the evening with John and Wendi, and Wendi's parents, George and Diane. John made an AMAZING meal (click on Wendi's blog for the menu!) and we had a great time with them all. It was nice to have somewhere to go and someone to celebrate with, even though we really enjoyed spending Christmas in our own home with our two little munchkins. =)

Merry Christmas!!

Merry Christmas to one and all! Hopefully you are all having a wonderful, blessed day with those you love as we celebrate Christ our Savior's birth!

We started the day by all four of us snuggling in our bed. Then we got up and read the Christmas story on the couch. Next, Philip lit the fire and put on some Christmas music to accompany our gift opening.
This year Keenan is the perfect age to enjoy ripping open presents! It was soo fun to watch him!

One of my gifts from Philip was a beautiful necklace, and he had a Very cool way of packaging it!

Philip did a Spectacular job of choosing gifts for me this year... he was brave and ventured away from my "wish list" and got some things on his own - very fun, indulging girly gifts that I love! Bath and body stuff, jewelry, cosmetics, chocolate...

I played it a little safer with his gifts, getting him things I Know he wants, but I did get one surprise gift... a little digital photo viewer (he can upload 60 pictures onto it, and clip it on his backpack or whatever).

Grandma Eberts bought her a Christmas outfit (0-3 months) which was way too big... this "dress" is actually the Shirt from the outfit! =)
However, she wears it quite well as a dress, I think!
