Second Last Day...

So, this morning, Laura and I were Supposed to go para-sailing, but on the way there, we got a call that it was canceled due to bad weather (although it seemed fine to us). We're going to give it another try tomorrow...

"Let's stop pretending about how we Really feel about each other!"

(I guess we can put on a happy face for a couple more days...)

We stopped at the beach on the way to Baytowne Wharf to take a few more pictures...

Good Fun

Today was spent mostly at home. I discovered that Keenan finally fits into a cute outfit he got when he was a week old, from Laura's parents, Donnajean and Brian McLeod. (Thank you! Hope you're reading today!) Here's some pictures of him in it.

What a handsome boy! Love those shoes...

Cool dude

"So I just got in from an afternoon of golfing..."

We spent some time this afternoon at the Air Force Armament Museum. It's close to the base and is free to get in, and Nathan seemed to have a good time taking pictures of cool planes and stuff...

You can do it, Laura!

Girl's Day out and Funny Stuff...

This morning Laura and I went to the Girl's weekly lunch (well, this week it was brunch). It was at Sarah's house, and man, the food was sooo good! Sarah made Delicious waffles (with whipped cream and strawberries), and we also had an egg and sausage bake, potato pancakes, fruit and dip, rice crispy squares and Reese's peanut butter cookies. Wow!!

Here's Andrea and Johanna with all the boys

After brunch, we headed to several stores in search of scrapbooking stuff (yay!), and also found some great deals on clothes at several places. Poor Nathan was left here to fend for himself for most of the day. Fortunately we all went out for dinner, so he at least got to leave the house at some point!

At Chili's for dinner

This was a sane moment in the midst of a bunch of what Nathan called
"Fatigue Induced Hilarity"
(I think it was more likely related to the insane amount of sweet things we consumed today...)

Here's me in the wreath...(I told you it was a LOT of sugar)

Aren't they so cute?

Tooth Sighting!

Okay, folks, I'd like to announce that Mr. Nathan Hansford has officially captured on film, Keenan's two front teeth for the first time ever!

I was tickling his shoulders... =)

Out Shopping etc...

Today we spent the day in Destin. We went to Destin Commons, but kind of got rained out after Books A Million, so then we had lunch and went to the outlets, Michaels, Barnes and Noble and Old Navy (as well as a brief stop at Sonic) for the rest of the day before picking Philip up.

Nathan and Laura at the beach (we just stopped by, we didn't swim)

Laura and Nathan bought Keenan a pair of adorable, camo Sketchers "crocs"

"These seem a bit big now, but they sure taste good!"

"Whew! Am I glad to be home after a looong day of shopping!"

Heavenly Cheesecake

This morning, Nathan, Laura, Keenan and I did a little bit of shopping. We're doing the "big stuff" (the outlet mall, Destin Commons, etc..) later in the week. Today we just went to Beall's and Wal-Mart, but we had fun, and they were able to pick up some yummy snacks and stuff that they can't get (or are more expensive) back home. I also discovered that Nathan is a fellow Vanilla Coke lover, so we bought some of that too.

Laura and I spent the afternoon in the kitchen, trying out a recipe she brought with her. It's called Peanut Butter Cup Cheesecake. It was really fun, and turned out really well too - SOOO delicious! (These pictures are all compliments of Nathan).

Us posing with the finished product

Isn't it beautiful?

Philip started his two week Orthopedic Surgery rotation today. It will actually only be a four day rotation for him, since this Friday is a holiday, and we'll be on leave the next week!

Today we rented a pontoon boat from Eglin's Outdoor Recreation Center. We went out to Crab Island and hung out and swam, and had a lot of fun with Nathan and Laura. The weather was beautiful, the water was perfect (clear, beautiful and warm), and a good time was had by all. We will definitely do this again! Here's some pictures from our day:
